Current Focus

Atlantis Research Labs has developed and refined a series of combustor prototypes that incorporate our patent-protected direct injection systems. Informed in part by thermo-acoustic principles, these technologies can potentially be applied to a broad range of market and industrial applications in combustion, incineration and propulsion.

For our advanced technologies at the market-readiness stage, we are currently focused on the development of industrial burner applications suitable for extraction and processing functions in the energy sector. These applications leverage efficiencies and demonstrable performance improvements in combustion and incineration, including such features as:

• no moving parts
• fuel versatility
• capacity for high velocity
• significant potential for reduced emissions
• operability in extreme conditions

In addition to industrial burner applications, Atlantis Research Labs continues its longer-term development program for propulsion applications, with a particular focus on advanced jet engine design for aerospace markets and the defence sector, under our trademarked AVRO brand.
